Lucy Snyder has worked in the animation industry for over twenty years. Her career started in London England working on the feature film "When the Wind Blows" followed by FX on "Highlander." She has worked on commercials, series and features. She has experience in every form of animation from 2D, FX, live-action/anim integration, stopmotion and CGI. Clients include: (Commercials) General Mills, Kellogg's, Coke, Johnson & Johnson, Labatt's, Ford (Broadcast) Universal, Disney, ABC, MTV, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, TVO and CBC.
Lucy has worked on both the creative and management side of the business either as a director, a producer or production manager.
She is currently the producer of the graphic design/motion graphics department at CBC.
Lucy has worked as a storyboard artist, layout artist, a designer and illustrator. Clients: ABC, CTV, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network and TVO. (Illustration) Jack Astor's, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Nightwood Theatre Company and OPT.
Lucy also donates her skills to charities such as The Red Door Family Shelter and The Community Association for the Riding for the Disabled.
Lucy writes for the fun of it. Due to heavy work commitments, Lucy doesn't get to write as much as she would like to.

Lucy draws in a variety of styles. From simple line drawings to highly realistic images. She also animates and paints. She has worked as an artist/revision artist on designs, layouts, storyboards and animation for Sullivan Entertainment, Cuppa Coffee Studios and The Animation House Ltd.
Her personal work tends to be varied. The design of her artwork usually mimics the mood or attitude of an accompanying story. Lucy likes to write stories...

Built/wrote In-camera effects (film not digital) using Hi-Con, Bi-Packs, multiple runs, cascading dissolves, filters, interrupters etc. *Once built 26 runs on the same bit of film for a "Pas de Deux" Norman Mclaren effect (phew!). Loved working with ND filters and interrupters.
